JOB TITLE: Communications & Customers Engagement Officer
JOB LOCATION: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time
JOB DETAILS:
- The selected candidate will oversee our entire communications, social media, digital marketing, and customers engagement procedure.
- The position will report / work directly with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Responsibilities
- He/She will plan, prepare, and implement public relations and institutional communication programs designed to make ColdHubs Limited better known by various audiences and to establish and maintain ColdHub’s credibility and good reputation as Nigeria’s leading cold chain company.
- He/She will enable ColdHubs Limited to understand better, how the company is perceived both internally and externally, by generating and analyzing customer feedback.
- He/She thinks deeply, identifies, and develops effective messages for dissemination to relevant target audiences and stakeholders.
- He/She, manage and regularly updates the website, develops, produces, and disseminates monthly Newsletters using our distribution list and key social media platforms.
- Daily management of ColdHubs Limited’s website.
- Crafting interesting stories (including organizing interviews), updating, and regularly posting ColdHubs monthly newsletter – N’Chekwa reaching 2,500+ subscribers.
- Updating and regularly posting approved bulletins.
- Use Mailchimp for newsletters and SquareSpace for the website.
- Use various design software – Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.
- Generates graphics for digital marketing purposes.
- Update social media platforms; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
- Use a digital camera (photos & videos) to cover official functions, events, and field trips.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: University Degree in Mass Communication, Computer Science, or ICT and communication-related field OR university degree in another field combined with a professional qualification in communications.
- Job experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Languages: Excellent knowledge of English.
- Out-of-the-box thinker, innovative, creative, entrepreneurial.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Excellent organizational skills, as performance monitoring will be done every quarter.
- Solid knowledge of various graphic design software.
- He/She must be extremely detailed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- He/She will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
