Main Purpose of the Job
- Support for implementing the Nigeria network’s strategic Prosperity objectives through policy advocacy with state governments, business and civil society.
- Lead on communications and social media work; event and visit preparation, working closely with other members of the joint DFID-DIT-FCO Nigeria Prosperity Team, including the Prosperity Fund.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Level qualification in Economics, Business Studies or equivalent Social Sciences; OR Media Studies and Communications, provided that a candidate can also demonstrate an understanding of economic and business issues.
- Good organisational skills: ability to organise events and visit programmes with limited supervision.
- Right to work in Nigeria
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working in private sector business or marketing/PR company.
Required Competencies:
- Making Effective Decisions, Leading and Communicating, Collaborating and Partnering, Managing a Quality Service.
