JOB TITLE: Technical Assistant
JOB LOCATION: Abuja
Key Responsibilities
We seek a technical assistant who can deliver or is willing to learn how to deliver on the following:
- Prepares presentation for business expansion.
- Design business proposals for prospective clients.
- Design easy and modern means of reporting in forms of templates.
- Ensures compliance with all cleaning industry policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensures health and safety, cleaning policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support the guarantee of fair treatment to the staff.
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand client needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Supervises and managing employees. Understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees’ absence or reassign.
- Acts as the “Service Champion” and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Displays leadership in client hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service, and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Strives to improve service performance.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.
- Responds to and handles client problems and complaints.
- Observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals and / or managers.
- Answering telephones and taking messages.
- Printing and filing documents.
- Composing emails.
- Maintain and manage relevant technical databases.
- Maintain and manage technical files and records in an organized manner.
- Organize and schedule administrative meetings with technical persons.
- Provide administrative support to customers in technical matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customers’ complex technical problems.
- Support and assist administrative department in strategic direction to technical persons.
- Scheduling meetings and organizing company travel arrangements.
Education and Work Experience
- Degree in Administration / or related field
- 1-3 years experience in similar role.
- Other related certifications are an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, and Power point).
Requirements:
- Ability to prepare reports monthly.
- Displays integrity – transparency in dealings with management, staff, and other individuals that you may encounter.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction within staff and management, both internal and external to the company.
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize.
- Team management skills- understanding of emotional intelligence.
- Interpersonal skills: As a front office manager you must have tact and the ability relate with clients and prospective clients.
- Critical thinking and Problem Solving
- Creativity: You must be creative, curious, and knowledgeable in a broad range of the business.
- Detail oriented: Make sure that all activities are performed to detail.
- Good judgment: You may be involved deep in settlement negotiations and a client / staff may ask you for their opinion on a proposed deal.
