JOB TITLE: Base / Logistics Coordinator
JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
JOB DETAILS:
- The Base / Logistics Coordinator to facilitate and oversee the supply chain operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all activities between the office base and all project sites.
- Prepare and maintain list of equipment in and out of locations or project site.
- Document and follow up to ensure all equipment, consumables and personnel are mobilized to site when required.
- Advise management on any HSE incident, logistics, community matters and other issues arising from all sites and proffer practical solutions.
- Manage all journeys across the company and ensure compliance.
- Monitor operational performance against agreed financial and operational targets.
- Work closely with the company project planner to ensure plans are up to date and activities are in line with strategy.
Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in relevant field, with 4 – 6 years’ work experience.
- Proven experience as logistics coordinator.
- Knowledge of oil and gas laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software such as (ERP/ SAP).
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
