Job Description
- We are currently seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to help deliver on our commercial goal in the south-south region of Nigeria.
- The individual must demonstrate a strong sense of accomplishment and track record in B2B Sales, to acquire merchants across different verticals on our payment gateway.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Effectively articulate the capabilities and value proposition of our payment gateway and SaaS product offerings to potential customers and partners.
- Manage the sales lifecycle – meaning building an active pipeline, developing client proposals, arranging demos and creating commercially successful long-term relationships.
- Hosting C-level meetings and managing complex high value sales engagements.
- Maintain a CRM platform with all relevant information relating to sales engagement with customers and prospects.
- Develop mutual value-based relationships with customers and partners at all levels.
- Manage multiple concurrent sales engagements effectively and allocate internal resources accordingly.
- Build upon the growth and adoption of the SeerBit’s clients in the enterprise market.
- Manage, develop and maintain client relationships and trusted partnerships that will optimize profitability, revenue, and client satisfaction.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with industry leaders that will lead to sales opportunities and new business.
- Apply a thorough understanding of the marketplace, industry trends, and products to all management activities and strategic sales decisions.
- Lead and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations and product demonstrations to a broad range of audiences,from C-level executives to individual contributors.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience working in the financial technology or banking sectors.
- 5+ years of experience in a frontline sales role managing complex sales cycles selling SaaS offerings in different verticals.
- Insurance and Pension fund market experience will be an added advantage.
- Confident and have a track record of experience managing your own territory and pipeline from prospecting to deal close.
- Solid experience in B2B and enterprise sales.
