Job Title: Senior Human Resources Officer
Locations: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Responsible to the HR Manager, the Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with your line manager to develop and implement manpower planning needs.
- Identify company staff developmental needs and design appropriate training programs / solutions to address the performance gaps.
- Efficient and timely recruitment & selection and ensure all recruitment processes are compliant with HR Policy & gu ide li ne .
- Responsible for the timely and accurate payroll process and ensure payroll practices are compliant with statutory regulations and HR Policy.
- Ensure the provision of accurate statistics, implement and maintain departmental records management.
- Ensure that Human Resource Policies and Procedures are updated and implemented in line with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Work with your line manager to carry out timely staff performance evaluations as per Company`s Performance Management System.
- Ensure operational HR activities and processes are correctly complied and provide accurate and timely advice and guidance to y ou r line manager.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Carry out any other duties within the scope of the position, related as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills
The position requires the applicant to possess the following:
- BSc / BA in Business Administration, Social Sciences or relevant field; minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to interact effectively with staff at all level.
- Ability to implement strategies to achieve HR objectives.
- Ability to conduct surveys, needs assessment analysis and summary.
- Be proficient in the use of MS Office suite, in particular, MS PP, MS Excel, Access and knowledge of HRMS/ERP
- The ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- HR Credentials (e.g. CIPM, SPHR from the HR Certification Institute)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary range: N15,000,000 to N22,000,000 gross annually.
- Lunch (provided in the office premises)
