Job Overview
- As a Sales Manager for our company specializing in banking equipment and software applications, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
- The focus will be on selling innovative solutions to financial institutions while actively participating in tender processes for federal government contracts.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth in the banking sector and federal government contracts.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in financial institutions and government agencies.
- Leverage your network to generate new business leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.
- Product Knowledge and Presentation:
- Stay updated on the latest banking technologies and software applications.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value proposition of our solutions.
Tender Process Management:
- Lead the preparation of compelling and compliant tender responses for government contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and ensure timely submission of tenders.
Sales Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales skills.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify competitors and market trends.
- Utilize insights to position our products effectively and stay ahead of industry changes.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management.
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership in the banking or financial technology sector.
- Experience in managing tender processes for government contracts is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and target-driven environment.
