Job Title: Senior Solar Sales Lead
Location: Wuye, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve sales volume and revenue targets as defined by regional sales goals.
- Develop the business, report, evaluate, and build a sales funnel.
- Build strategies to maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Attend and organize regular sensitization campaigns on all new products.
- Ensure compliance with all sales practices, and prepare market/sales reports and recommendations.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our innovative solar solutions.
- Conduct thorough home and site assessments to determine the suitability and optimal placement of solar systems.
- Develop and present detailed, customized solar proposals and solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technology advancements.
- Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, prospecting, and sales options.
- Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in solar sales.
- Candidate must reside in Abuja.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in sales of solar products, including inverters, UPS, and solar panels.
- Strong understanding of solar technology, energy markets, and regulatory environments.
- Good technical understanding of solar energy systems and components
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in using ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
