JOB TITLE: Sous Chef
JOB LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos

Role Overview
- The Sous Chef will work alongside the Head Chef in overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, and ensuring food quality and consistency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Provide support with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
- Manage the kitchen team in the head chef’s absence.
- Train the cooks in order to provide the best results
- Preparehigh-quality dishes that follow up the established menu and meetstherestaurant’s standards and guest’s expectations
- Adhere to and implement sanitation and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Culinary Degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
