JOB TITLE: HR Executive
JOB LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos

JOB DETAILS:
Consultation and Interface with Management and Accounts:
- Ensure regular meetings with the Board of Partners (“BOP”) or Management
- Consult with BOP to identify employment needs and preferred qualifications for vacant positions
- Work with the BOP or Management to manage succession planning of staff
- Determine suitable salaries and remuneration for employees – Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
- Provide the necessary support systems for payroll requirements
- Advise the BOP or Management on best HR policies and practices
- Advise the BOP or Management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and other employee issues
- Maintain constant interface with Practice Heads of Regional Offices of the Firm
- Draft Offers of Employment and Job Descriptions for employees.
Recruitment and Management of Employees:
- Interface between the BOP, Management and Staff
- Design Recruitment framework for onboarding new staff
- Coordinate and support the recruitment of new staff
- Contact references and perform background checks on staff and prospective staff
- Inform applicants about job details such as job description and expectations, benefits and conditions of employment
- Hire or refer qualified candidates for vacancies
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Manage company staff
- Develop adequate induction and training programs
- Support employee opportunities for professional development as well as design training and development initiatives
- Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
- Consult with the Legal Team to ensure that HR policies comply with federal and state law
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Design a Staff Correction and Disciplinary Manual/Policy
- Conduct disciplinary action
- Update HR Policies
- Draw up Schedules for Leave, Holidays, etc.
Performance Management, Review, Appraisals and Promotion:
- Assisting with the performance management and review process
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
Requirements
- First Degree / HND in Social Sciences and other related fields
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
- Professional certification in HR is an advantage
- Very sound in recruitment and head hunting.
- Experience performing appraisals.
