Your duties and responsibilities are:
Logistics/Warehousing:
- Assist in the smooth running and efficient coordination of the warehouse/Logistics unit and ensuring processes & procedures are being adhered to in the unit.
- Conduct periodic and Annual Stock count for the purpose of ascertaining closing stock and reconcile same.
- Assist in Branch setup, procurement & auditing of assets
- Periodic Company’s assets/stock auditing
- Managing all company’s warehouse/stores in ensuring that all stocked items/materials are accounted for
- Assist in ensuring prime books are well documented, properly kept and filed accordingly
- Managing the layout and set up of the warehouse/Stores for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.
- Implementing cost cutting rules in all aspects of transactions and related activities.
- Managing and checking all inventory records and making evaluation reports.
- Maintaining all inventory and records.
- Assist in organizing and supervising the shipping and receiving of all materials.
Fleet Management:
- Ensuring prompt processing of requests for funds by the fleet unit and claims by individual staff of the unit.
- Ensuring prompt analysis (returns) monies given to the unit.
- Monitoring of drivers, mechanics repair and servicing of vehicles.
- Keeping records of repairs, servicing, fuel consumption, kilometers covered, maintenance cost, location, drivers, etc for all the company vehicles.
