Job Summary
- To enhance the bank’s overall profitability in the Area, by aggressively driving retail & Business banking loan growth, deposit mobilization, eBusiness cross sales (cards and POSes), virtual banking , Alternative channels, Payment & Collections as well as account acquisition
- To enhance the bank’s funds mobilization and overall profitability through targeted marketing at the Retail & Business Banking Area (a group of branches within a certain proximity)
- To grow bank’s revenue base at the Area, by ensuring sales of all products across the spectrum; ebusiness, loans and deposit liabilities.
- Drives Public Sector & Agric businesses in the Area
- Ensure good customer satisfaction/feedbacks and excellent service delivery
- Protect brand image and ensure compliance on Reputational risk management.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Responsible for the retail and Business Banking loan growth across the Area/group
- Responsible for the overall deposit growth on all retail & Business Banking liabilities (current, savings and domiciliary accounts) at the cluster
- Ensure that customer acquisition targets are achieved within the Area
- Coordinate and oversee the sales activities of Branch Managers and RMs
- Drive initiatives required to achieve the product marketing and sales strategy
- All of the activities of a Branch Manager
- Overall profitability of all branches in the geographical locations
- Branch and ATM optimization
- Provide overall leadership / direction and continually enhance team performance to achieve quality customer service delivery
- Mobilize revenue for the group/geography
- Coordinate execution of group sales plan by customer segment and product
- Monitor group sales pipeline and identify additional methods of improving performance
- Manage group sales KPIs and coordinate sales & Operation staff in branch with respective tasks, responsibilities and target allocations ▪ Avoid and manage reputational risk
- Interact with key customers to help finalize significant deals
- Oversees the development of yearly sales plans and reforecast
- Responsible for general group administration (non-core operations)
- Any other jobs as may be assigned by Regional Business Executive.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a good First Degree in any discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a bank / financial institution with the last 3 years in mid / upper Management.
