Responsibilities
The role of the Brand Events Regional Manager responsibilities encompasses the following:
- Support and assist the Regional Chief Risk Officer in the management of Brand Events.
- Work with and act as the interface between the Central Brand Events team and the respective region for any Brand Event taking place.
- Assist the regional Chief Risk Officer to conduct protective file reviews under legal privilege.
- Drive smaller Brand Events not handled by the central Brand Events team and execute all actions related to brand and reputational events.
- Set up and manage the response team to deal with brand events.
- Assist the central Brand events’ team in providing an assessment of the challenges and the risks raised by the Brand Event.
- Collaborate with the internal legal team and external counsel on litigation issues with the objective of defending the firm and protecting the Deloitte brand.
- Execute any other tasks assigned by the Chief Risk Officer.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (LLB., B.A., B.Eng./B. Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit division.
- Have a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only.
- Possess minimum of 4 years working experience within the relevant function.
- Have Internal Audit, Risk Management or similar experience.
- Have a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
