Job Description
- The Brand & Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on trade marketing initiatives.
- This position involves overseeing various aspects of branding, marketing, and communications to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities
Trade Marketing:
Advertisements
- Establish strategic trade partnerships and events to elevate the brand and increase market awareness within the industry.
- Plan and execute trade marketing activities to support product launches and promotions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key trade partners to maximize brand visibility and sales opportunities.
- Analyze trade marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Marketing & Communications:
- Lead the development of creative content, advertising, and marketing collateral with a trade-oriented approach.
- Execute a clear content strategy tailored for trade marketing channels to drive engagement.
- Develop monthly calendars for both online and offline trade marketing content.
- Utilize unique customer insights and lifestyle trends to drive strategic business goals in the trade sector.
- Maintain an active vendor list, including content producers, media, and ad agencies with a focus on trade marketing needs.
- Develop quarterly marketing calendars specifically targeting trade shows and events.
- Identify trade-specific media outlets for press releases and unique story pitches.
Branding:
- Drive the execution of the company’s brand message and strategy, with a specific focus on trade marketing channels.
- Amplify the ReelFruit brand to new and existing audiences, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
- Serve as the custodian of the brand identity, developing consistent visuals for trade-specific materials.
Administration & Reporting:
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, tracking activities and results, with a particular focus on trade marketing metrics.
- Handle all administrative tasks associated with the department, ensuring smooth operations.
- Use data-driven decision-making to track and improve the performance of trade marketing and promotion efforts.
- Act as the central point of contact to keep stakeholders informed of trade marketing initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and manage a clientele base through constant engagement with ReelFruit’s trade customers.
- Gather feedback from trade clients and provide analytical insights to impact product development specifically for the trade sector.
Business Improvement:
- Ensure prompt resolution of operational matters related to trade marketing activities.
- Conduct periodic competitor brand analysis, sharing insights with the team to enhance trade-specific strategies.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 8 – 10 years of experience in Brand & Marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
- Demonstrated expertise in trade marketing concepts and strategies.
- Creative thinker with strong visual storytelling and content creation skills.
- Sound knowledge of functional ideas in both general and trade-specific brand building.
- Proven ability to identify the right trade partnerships for growing brand awareness.
- Strong creative and idea development skills, with a keen eye for emotive insights in trade campaigns.
- Outstanding writing skills with the ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
- Decision-making based on customer insights.
- In-depth knowledge of the marketing and advertising ecosystem, particularly in the trade sector.
- Ability to analyze trade demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits.
