Job Description
- Our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to oversee all aspects of the company’s corporate product portfolio.
- The Business Development Manager would be responsible for driving sustainable financial growth through effective sales strategies and forging strong relationships with clients.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Prospect, negotiate and close agreements with corporate customers.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Contacting new and existing clients and establishing rapport.
- Developing proposals and quotes for clients.
- Conducting market research and gathering important business intelligence.
- Identifying and driving new opportunities.
- Attending meetings, conferences and industry events.
- Relationship management with business partners and service providers.
Educational Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a business development role.
- Proven and verifiable track record in client acquisition, sales and relationship management.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellence in writing and oratory is critical.
- Self-starter, self-motivated.
- Goal oriented.
