Job Summary
- We require the services of an experienced Business Development Manager with a large portfolio of clients who will be responsible for bringing businesses, identifying sales leads, pitching for new clients and maintaining a good working relationship with old and new contacts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a good working relationship with old and new contacts.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
- Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies.
- Preparing financial projections and sales targets.
- Producing reports for management.
- Cold calling and booking appointments.
- Planning, preparing and making presentations to clients.
- Increasing value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Developing goals and targets for sales and business development team and leading business growth and ensuring they are met.
Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
- Candidates should posses a B.Sc qualification with over four (4) years work experience.
- A drive to seek new business, sales and marketing skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Proficiency in verbal and written English Language.
- Friendly, warm and compassionate personality.
- Proficiency in word structure and composition.
- Initiative and good decision-making skills.
