JOB TITLE: Business Development Officer
JOB LOCATION: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
JOB DETAILS:
- The Business Developer identifies, evaluates and pursues business opportunities with partners and potential customers.
- He coordinates with other departments, to implement Marketing initiatives.
- He is also responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients, and acquiring & retaining new ones, as he is often the first point of contact a new customer will have with the business when they are seeking information on the services the company provides.
Job Responsibilities
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals, and presentations for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or any related field (Certification will be an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-5 years working experience in Sales, Marketing or any related field, specifically in the Media and brand management industry.
