Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Manager to join a brand in Abuja that regularly curates engaging social experiences for our clients.
- As the Community Manager, you will play a vital role in fostering a strong sense of community, ensuring smooth operations, managing events, and driving engagement among our participants.
- Your primary responsibilities will include managing interactions, organizing events, building partnerships, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our attendees.

Community Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment both online and physically.
- Foster engagement through online platforms, social media, and other communication channels.
- Respond to inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Encourage participants to share their experiences and promote the brand within their networks.
Event Organization and Execution:
- Collaborate with the director to curate and organize themed activities in line with business offerings.
- Ensure all logistical aspects of events, such as venue coordination, supplies, are effectively managed.
- Oversee event registration and ticketing processes, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for attendees.
- Be present during events to ensure smooth operations, address any issues that arise, and create a positive atmosphere.
Partnerships and Marketing:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to expand our reach and promote our events.
- Leverage event listing platforms to maximize event visibility and attract a diverse audience.
- Coordinate marketing efforts, including online presence, social media management, and collaborations with local media outlets.
- Actively seek opportunities to promote the brand
Customer Satisfaction and Feedback:
- Regularly gather feedback to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to enhance the quality of events based on customer suggestions and changing interests.
- Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an HND, B.Ed or B.Sc qualification with 5 – 10 years work experience.
- Proven experience in event organization, or related roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for creating meaningful connections and providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of the Abuja social scene, local cultural events, and community networks is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules.
