Job Description
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
- Provide responses and escalate critical issues presented by customers on the social media platforms
- Manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
- Advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues.
- Responsible for the production of a consistent social media visual content in all forms (Photo, video, gif, and motion animation) uniquely adapted to the EEDC brand.
- Responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering video, audio and photos that are engaging and support the departments overall vision.
- Responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering video and photos of EEDC’s corporate events that are engaging and promotional in nature
- Creation of jingles with contents uniquely developed to address specific factors for the radio and the Public Address Systems in the districts.
- Responsible for ensuring consistent growth of followers binged on set target percentages on all social media platforms, through expanding community and /or influencer outreach efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Business, Journalism, Media or other related areas and/or proven experience.
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a communications or marketing role
- Previous experience in running social media campaigns or digital campaigns
- Experience in running or assisting with events and forums
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An eye for design and proficiency in creating visual content
- High level of proficiency in creating content for and managing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Proficient in creating digital content: text, images, video and audio
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Basic proficiency in design programs like Canva, Corel Draw, InDesign and Photoshop
- Ability to manage expectations and work well with different teams and stakeholders, and ability to work well autonomously
- Skills in Photography and videography.
