Job Title: Equipment Testing and Commissioning Officer
Location: Lagos
Role Purpose
- Will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of equipment testing and commissioning unit

- Carry out tests on all equipment’s and projects for the necessary required commissioning and for status confirmation if there is still a fault or when the fault has been cleared and ready for supply restoration.
- Assist in the installation of protective relays, battery banks and chargers.
- Perform simulation test on relays.
- Certify newly procured electrical materials.
- Ensure annual preventive maintenance of all ISS equipment.
- Carry out transformer oil test analysis.
- Correct all DC failure in 11kv panels.
- Assist in preparing strategy/plan for all equipment testing and commissioning.
- Assist in preparing annual equipment installation and testing plan and help to monitor its execution.
- Prepare the reports on the company’s equipment requiring testing and commissioning.
- Maintain and monitor the database for equipment testing and commissioning.
- Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs.
- Assist in Carry out any other duties as requested by the Head of Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field (Electrical / Electronics / Power) with at least 0-2 years’ experience in the Power Sector.
- Post graduate qualification/ degree in power/ electrical engineering is an added advantage
