Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Awka, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Take store inventory and keep records of all school facilities and equipment, including building and all is therein.
- Monitor facility usage, operations and equipment maintenance
- Receive and keep stock and record of all materials and equipment bought for the school.
- Release materials/ equipment meant for maintenance and installation to the maintenance officer and follow up to ensure released are judiciously utilized and properly installed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment functioning status and other systems in the buildings.
- Develop a schedule for regular evaluation of facilities.
- Take periodic stock of materials and equipment and advise management accordingly.
- Submit report of the position of the facilities in the school which will include stock position of all the materials meant for maintenance. This should be done fortnightly.
- Ensure all equipment and other facilities are functioning well.
- Create a maintenance plan.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years as Facility Manager preferably in a leading educational environment.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Degree in Estate or property management.
- Ability to function in a challenging environment.
- Computer skills are compulsory.
- Ability to lead with organization skills.
