JOB TITLE: Fleet Officer
JOB LOCATION: Delta
JOB DETAILS:
- Provide support for the implementation of the organization’s logistics policies and processes by participating in planning/ coordinating movement of vehicles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage vehicular traffic, including loading activities (off-loading and on-loading) to ensure overall orderliness and efficiency of operations.
- Ensure appropriate storage of incoming materials at the designated sites.
- Coordinate loading onto allocated trucks for dispatch to approved locations.
- Ensure that all logistic activities comply with the organisation’s Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
- Develop and submit reports of logistics activities and provide recommendations where necessary.
- To ensure all accident and related documents are collected on time.
- Liaising with Transporters acquiring information on: arrival of trucks, truck breakdown, any other emergencies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Fleet manager.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in business, logistics, or other related field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in logistics management.
