JOB TITLE: Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supervisor

JOB DETAILS:
- Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
- Daily supervision of restaurant and it’s related operations and menu planning.
- Maintainingsanitation standards and striving to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
- Communicate with guests to receive feedback on product quality and service levels and manage complaints.
- Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met and encouraging themto provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
- Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
- Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
- Participate in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
Job Requirements
- A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management.
- Excellent Management skill.
- Ability to Recognize good quality products and presentations.
- Extensive Restaurant, Bar and Kitchenknowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- Acute financial management skills.
- Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
- Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities.
