- We are recruiting for the exciting role of an Executive Chef at The Protea Hotel by Marriott Lagos Kuramo Waters. This unique opportunity is for a distinguished leader and a professional who will head our kitchen with a cuisine career spanning Europe, North America, Africa and Asia styled menu. The successful candidate will also work with our General Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment
- Have ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Follow 100% HACCP guidelines in the workplace and following these procedures is essential
- Design menus in conjunction with Food and Beverage Manager. These need to meet the target market and are in line with the operating concept for the restaurant
- Assume responsibility for increasing departmental sales and profit
- Maximise payroll costs by maximising the productivity and efficient scheduling employees
- Control food cost and wastage
