Job Summary
- The Front Desk Executive (FDE) role is responsible for managing front office reception and administrative duties which include answering telephones, receiving visitors, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.
Major Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Advertisements
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests; receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department in line with corporate policies and procedures.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage Corporate Office front desk operations; complete, develop and maintain forms in accordance with company procedures; prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mails within the office, and coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally.
First Point Of Contact:
- Acts as first point of contact for external visitors wishing to contact the company to ensure that only those having genuine and acceptable reasons may do so.
Problem-Solving And Decision Making:
- Handle complaints and resolve grievances and conflicts with customers. Supervise other clerical staff, including trainings and orientation.
- Exercise initiative to identify and deal with problems and issues that arise to ensure smooth running of the front office.
Secretarial And Clerical Duties:
- Answer central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic files and keep records of collections and disbursements.
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
