Job Title: Front Desk Officer
Location: Asaba, Delta

Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors and managing telephone calls
- Managing appointments: scheduling appointments and keeping those appointments on time
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- Managing the reception ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat, clean, and calm; reporting on any damage
- Comforting distressed patients: this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise to responding to distressed patients with compassion.
- Ensure that the patient’s right to confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that every person who visits the hospital, be it a patient or a visitor, leaves as a satisfied customer.
- Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Perform other clerical and administrative assistant duties as may be directed.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum academic qualification of a National Diploma in a Communication-related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, customer service officer or similar role
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office application tools
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Candidate demeanor must exude decorum
- Must Possess very good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude.
