Qualifications & Specification
- Possess a University Degree.
- Post Graduate qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience in an international school setting will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a leadership role within an international school setting.
- Ability to lead and manage the day to day operations of the boarding house whilst promoting the boarding house as a caring, nurturing and supportive environment dedicated to the wellbeing and education of every student.
- Must be a highly visible leader with the charisma to inspire and motivate the boarding community.
- Must be an empathetic relationship builder with a sophisticated understanding of how to work effectively in a fully residential environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Devise strategies to ensure that each student’s holistic potential is being developed to the fullest.
- Ensure that students are supported academically, socially, physically, mentally and emotionally.
- Must have an up to date knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations including Child Protection and Keeping Children Safe in Education Approach to responsibilities must be highly proactive.
- Significantly experienced with adolescents dealing with conflict resolution, problem solving and a demonstrated record in fostering care with staff and students.
- Must be smart, confident and competent.
- Significant experience in classroom teaching in an international school.
- Must be a certified First Aider.
