Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Business Development to lead and drive our sales initiatives in the fintech industry.
- As the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales-related activities, developing strategic partnerships, managing Super Agents and Aggregators, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the Business Development Team, Agents and Aggregators, Key Accounts and the City sales activities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for in-store and merchants, Agents and Aggregators, Key Accounts and Governments, Private and Consumers, Web POS and ecommerce checkout to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recruit, train, and manage Sales team, Super Agents and Aggregators to expand our distribution network.
- Identify, form and execute strong partnerships with key potential partners, ambassadors, service providers, strategic alliance etc.
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to leverage synergies and enhance business growth.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive growth.
- Oversee the TeleSales team and ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide market insights and feedback for product/service enhancements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote our brand.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years experience with a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the fintech industry.
Skills Sets:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills
- Must be Customer Centric and must have experience with CRM Software.
Salary
N400,000 – N600,000 monthly.
