JOB TITLE: Head of Sales

JOB DETAILS:
- Oversee and drive the sales team to achieve the set department KPIs
- Sell the company’s range of products and services directly to existing and new accounts.
- Identify and acquire new customers, as well as up-selling and cross-selling to the existing customer base
- Meet planned sales goals and objectives.
- Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of applications.
- Participate in developing, presenting, and selling a value proposition.
- Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from prospecting through to successful closure
- Maintain a sustainable and robust pipeline and ensure accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
- Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Liaise with the marketing department on lead generation and conversion of leads to client
Candidate’s Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
- Relevant sales and marketing professional certifications are an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in B2B Sales, managing the company’s account
- Experience selling software solutions will be an added advantage.
- Ability to expand the company with new sales, clients/leads, and territories
