JOB DETAILS:
- We are looking to hire an HR specialist with experience in organizational design.
- The ideal candidate contributes to changes in organizational structures, job roles, and changes to business processes, systems, and technology.
- He/She should be proficient in recruitment processes.

- Refining, developing and implementing the organizational development framework and body of knowledge
- In consultation with Managing Director, the HR specialist is responsible for the development of generic office structures including generic roles, responsibilities, office funding modalities, risk management profiles, office roles
- Develops and implements sustainable business strategies, thinks long-term and externally in order to positively shape the organization.
- Taking talent management requirements and feeding them into office structures
- Management of corporate job descriptions and standards
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
- Creating on boarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
- Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
- Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
- Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
- Collaborates and supports the development of others.
- Upholds organizational and ethical norms.
- Applies innovation and creativity to problem-solving.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor ‘s Degree in relevant field (minimum of 2.1)
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
- Knowledge of organizational design and recruitment processes.
- Attention to detail and analytically driven
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Leadership and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suites (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Candidates should reside in Lagos.
