JOB TITLE: Human Resource Manager
JOB LOCATION: Abuja

JOB DETAILS
- We seek a human resource manager who can deliver or is willing to learn how to deliver on the following:
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and system.
- Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle employee relations.
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews and screening candidates.
- Prepare reports.
- Analyze and monitor leave request and approval.
- Manage payroll, staff benefits and conducts.
- Monitor staff performance and carryout performance management processes (regular performance appraisal).
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Develop training and development programs.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Communicate in a professional manner via emails and otherwise.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Develop templates to ease workflow.
- Suggest and advice the management team on various mode of improvements.
Education and Work Experience
- A Degree in Human Resource Management, any Social Sciences / Management field.
- A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Human Resource.
- Experience in International Human Resource Management.
- Must have experience in using software and HR management tools.
- Experience in similar position especially top brands in the industry.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Labour Law.
- Learning and development.
- Leadership skills.
- Employee relations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction within staff and management, both internal and external to the hotel.
- Ability to prepare work reports, develop and administer template.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage work stress and take own initiative.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
