Description
- The Human Resources Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training and development programs within an organization.
- They play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees.
- Additionally, they collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training materials, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with the HR team, department managers, and subject matter experts to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- This includes identifying skills gaps, designing training materials, and selecting appropriate delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, e-learning, workshops).
Training Delivery and Facilitation:

- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees at various levels, ensuring that the content is delivered effectively and engages participants.
- Utilize instructional techniques and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote knowledge retention.
Training Material Creation:
- Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and other resources to support training initiatives. Ensure that the content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive exercises, and assessments to enhance the learning experience.
Performance Evaluation:
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through various evaluation methods, such as surveys, assessments, and feedback sessions.
- Analyze training metrics and participant feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to enhance training outcomes.
Training Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in training activities.
- Stay updated on legal requirements related to training and development, such as those concerning diversity and inclusion, safety, and anti-harassment.
- Modify training programs as necessary to meet compliance standards.
Training Administration:
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling training sessions, coordinating venues or virtual platforms, and maintaining training records.
- Monitor training budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Collaborate with external training providers, if necessary, to supplement internal training initiatives.
Training Needs Assessment:
- Conduct regular assessments to identify ongoing training needs within the organization.
- Collaborate with department managers and HR business partners to identify skill gaps and emerging training requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements that may impact training needs.
Employee Development:
- Support employee development initiatives by recommending appropriate training and development opportunities.
- Provide guidance and resources to employees seeking professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans for employees.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly
