Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Description
- Develop the recruitment and selection procedure to include, appointment /confirmation /termination / resignation process.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation and all on-boarding activities.
- Conduct job evaluations and prepare job descriptions for all positions in the organization.
- Prepare the organization’s remuneration and other HR budgets, conduct periodic pay surveys, recommend, plan and implement remuneration structure revisions.
- Set up key performance measurement matrix and indicators for all job functions and ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of all employee work results periodically.
- Formulate effective performance appraisal policy, procedures and ensure its compliance. Review and analyze the performance appraisal managing process
- Conduct training needs analysis and institutionalize a well coordinated human capital development program focusing on results and impact by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees.
- Train managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management interface with employees on HR issues; hearing and resolving employee grievances and counseling.
- Maintain employee benefits programs and directing the processing of benefit claims
- Ensure compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining historical HR records through a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- Review, amend and draft job descriptions and qualifications required for job positions.
- Set up the working methodology for succession planning analysis, implementation and monitoring.
- Encourage and develop employee communications and provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job function, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
- Ensure proper management of staff resources and maintenance of occupational health safety. Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches amongst personnel
- Advise staff on all HR policy matters and recommend needed changes.
Qualifications
- HND/B.Sc/BA.
- HR Certifications is compulsory.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a passionate about HR, Peoples Management and Business Sustainability
- He must have worked or is currently working in a key manufacturing company with organized systems and procedures as Human Resources Manager, managing nearly a thousand staff
- A minimum of 12 years work experience 6 of which must be in senior management position in HR is required.
