JOB DETAILS:
- The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of electrical components within our facilities.
Job Description
- Install and program electrical equipment
- Repair and carry out preventive maintenance on the electrical components of industrial equipments
- Measure, cut and install wiring and conduit systems
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical problems
- Follow safety procedures in the execution of job functions
- Carry out frequent quality assurance checks and implement safety measures
- Keep detailed records on status of machines and advise on replacement, if necessary.
Education
- A Degree obtained from an accredited higher institution in a related field.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Requirements:
- Ability to understand schematics and other technical documents
- Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks
- Mechanical skills
- Previous experience in an industrial environment strongly preferred.
