JOB TITLE: IT Support Engineer

JOB DETAILS:
- The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support & assistance to individual users and teams across the Organization by installing, configuring, testing, and upgrading computer hardware & software where required; contributing to the detection & resolution of various IT issues ensuring the smooth operation of the Organization’s IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Installation, set-up, and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.
- Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
- Create and deploy email configuration, user, and file permission over the network.
- Provide user support for all staff of the Organization face-to-face, via email/messenger platforms, or over the phone.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure (IP address, subnet mask, static routers, switches, DHCP switches, DHCP servers, wireless access points, etc.).
- Conduct standard troubleshooting/diagnostics of system & network problems, repairs or upgrades of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Apple servers (Open or Active Directory)
- Test and evaluate new technology and when required support the roll-out of new applications. Liaise with relevant vendors/suppliers/contractors etc. on behalf of the Organization.
- Provide administrative support to the IT team, including the generation of various documents, manuals, and reports.
- Perform other functions as may be assigned by the IT Coordinator.
Requirements & Certification
- A good Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field.
- 3 – 5 years experience as an IT support engineer.
- A+ and N+ Certified.
- CCNA & CCNP Certified.
- IT user-support specific skills (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Network security & MS Office support) and hands-on experience with Linux, and Apple macOS. Interpersonal Skills:

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Committed to continuous learning & self-development.
- Must be analytical, with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Capable of working independently, with minimum supervision.
- Well-developed time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
