Job Title: Junior Finance Administrator

About the Role

- As we expand our global footprint, we’re looking for a dedicated and organized Finance Administrator to provide support to the Finance Team by performing a variety of administrative tasks related to financial record-keeping and processing.
- This role will be working remotely and reporting into the Management Accountant based in Melbourne, Australia.
What Does This Opportunity Mean for You
- Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including coding and data entry.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
- Maintain accurate financial records and files.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Process employee expense reports.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
- 1-3 years of experience as a Finance Administrator or similar
- Practical experience with any accounting software
- Knowledge of Excel and MS Access
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and reconciling accounts
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
