Job Title: Land Acquisition Manager (Solar PV)

Responsibilities
The following are job description:
- You will be in charge of finding, assessing, and purchasing land parcels throughout the STATE for the construction of solar PV and BESS projects as the land acquisition manager.
- You will collaborate closely with a range of parties, including landowners, local government officials, attorneys, and internal teams to negotiate land agreements, obtain required licences, and make sure all applicable laws are followed.
- Proficiency in land acquisition and excellent communication abilities
- Source & identify land suitable for the development of Solar PV & Hydrogen projects and identify new land acquisition or leasing opportunities that align with the company’s strategy and objectives.
- Preliminary analysis of the identified land (environmental, urban planning, legalisation) and study of area planning & local regulations.
- Develop & maintain a network of of relationships with authorities, agencies, municipalities, associations, landowners & local partners for land search (land brokers).
- Negotiate & sign with the landowner the lease or option to purchase the land. Commercial management of signed land contracts (invoices, payments, renewals, etc.).
- Initiate contact with the local councils where the land is located, to validate the suitability of the land for urban planning regulation purposes.

- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Environmental Studies, or a related field. Advanced Degree or professional certifications in a relevant discipline will be advantageous.
- 3+ years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related roles, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of land acquisition processes, property laws, planning regulations, and environmental considerations in the country
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and external partners.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
