Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
Position Overview
- As a Legal Assistant at Azikel Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team in various aspects of our operations.
- You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Conducting legal research and providing support in the interpretation of laws and regulations.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of legal correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintaining and organizing legal files and records.
- Assisting with the monitoring and compliance of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure legal objectives are met.
- Supporting the legal team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Job Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
