Job Title: Line Cook

Description
- Exciting opportunity for a Line Cook in our tapas bar, responsible for the precise preparation of tapas dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team, manage station efficiency, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards. Ideal candidates have proven line cook experience, adaptability, and a passion for cooking
Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
- Execute the preparation and cooking of tapas dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Station Management:
- Manage a specific stations in the kitchen, coordinating with other head chef for smooth service.
- Keep the station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Tapas Chef and other staff to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to meet culinary standards.
- Address any discrepancies and report to the Tapas Chef.
Adherence to Standards:
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Uphold health and safety regulations during all stages of food preparation.
Efficiency and Speed:
- Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely preparation of tapas orders.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to meet service demands.
Menu Knowledge:
- Familiarize yourself with the tapas menu, including ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Communicate effectively with serving staff to fulfill customer requests accurately.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years experience.
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a tapas or small plates setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Experienced in food safety and sanitation.
- Basic culinary training or relevant experience.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new recipes and techniques.
