Job Title: Liquidity Accountant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose
- We are currently seeking an adaptable, smart and experienced Liquidity Accountant to oversee all aspects of day-to-day transactions of our business.
- Also ensure performance of duties, utilizing efficient operations and standard operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities

- The primary responsibility of the Liquidity Accountant is to check daily bank balances.
- The Liquidity Accountant is responsible for cash sales confirmation.
- Handles bank posting on Sage.
- Relates with sites on film hire, sales (Cash and POS), same from banks and all tax related issues.
- Sends bank statements from time to time as well as relating with Auditors on any required documents/correspondence.
- Handles Office expenses (petty and major).
- Fills annual returns (LIRS & other sites, coordinate the sites)
- Provides Monthly sales report on the first of every month.
- Conducts Analysis, reports, and invoices.
- Maintains complete and accurate record-keeping
- Ensures resolution of differences
- Liaises between front-end system owners and General Accounting team
- Reviews journal entries and compile account reconciliations
- Supports period end and close processes.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2-3 years relevant experience in the field
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong Analytical, communication and computer skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes
- Must be a good Team player with excellent ability to multi-tasking and able to adapt to varying situations.
