Job Description
Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA’s)
The Manager Account will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
Advertisements
- Own end-to-end P&L, sales activities, product fitment and fulfilment
- Be responsible for bi-lateral arrangements and negotiating optimal settlements, agreements, termination rates and terms with international carrier partners
- Contribute to international Wholesale Mobility sales strategy, sales deals, requests for implementation and outstanding pricing agreements
- Provide input on the financial plan and KPIs set by planning and performance regarding wholesale mobility
- Interfaces with MTN GC business units to ensure customers receive quality service in line with group SLA standards
- Develop new opportunities for Wholesale Mobility services
- Monitor and action performance KPI’s for key customers, ensuring MTN remains best in class.
- Report monthly performance on commercial benefits, target achievements, gaps and develop strategy to bridge gaps
Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-year Academic Degree (preferably in Business Management or related field)
- Fluent in English and language of country preferable
Experience:
- 5+ years in relevant experience in Carrier Telecom business
- 2+ years managerial experience preferably within the telecommunication industry

- Drive sales targets of Wholesale Mobility services as set
- Drive Y’ello Connect uptake through new customer additions
- Manage relationships with assigned with suppliers, partners and customers end-to-end
- Own Operational Deliveries towards customers including providing inputs to support functions on Process Management, Product Planning, Commercial Management & Reports
- Prioritisation management: Ability to manage the allocated time and resources efficiently
- Commercial acumen and financial competence
- Strong customer relation management skills.
