Job Title: Next Generation of Jumia’s HR Leader

What You Will Be Doing

- Head of HR: You will be defining, leading and implementing the HR strategy in collaboration with the country’s CEO as well as designing policies and processes in order to minimize business risk and comply with local laws and internal standards.
- HR People Partner: You will be responsible to translate the HR strategy into actions to deliver the expected level of HR service. This will include support to managers, recruitment, training, careers and development, disciplinary management.
- HR Operations Specialist: You will be in charge of all HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, offboarding, day-to-day management, office management.
- HR Talent Acquisition: You will be in charge of building pipelines, screening profiles, interviewing talents and managing the employer branding strategy at Jumia.
- HR Development: You will be responsible for collecting training and coaching needs and building a plan in alignment with talent reviews, building programs for high potentials and working on retention and happiness.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a structured, fast-paced environment
- Long-term commitment to Africa, based in a Jumia’s Operating Country
- Mastery of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner across multiple teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English.
