Job Title: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Summary of Job
- The main goal of the sales representative is to increase the visibility and awareness of the Latter Day Saints-Vision Spring Eye Screening Program by recruiting pharmacies and medicine shops in Kano State.
- The Rep will act as the key link between EHA Clinics and community pharmacists, as well as patent and proprietary medicine vendors (PPMVs), to increase screening volume and access to reading glasses in underserved communities.
Core Responsibilities
Advertisements
- Identify and recruit community pharmacies and PPMVs as screening centers.
- Promote eye screening initiatives and uptake of reading glasses by community and patent medicine stores.
- Assess interested premises and coordinate training of pharmacy staff on eye screening.
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and symposium circuits as required.
- Work with the warehouse team to develop and implement strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message, sales growth, and increased portfolio liquidation.
- Build positive trust relationships with healthcare partners to influence targeted groups in the decision-making process.
- Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
- Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting, feedback, and strategy planning.
- Expand the current customer base within Kano LGAs to develop the Latter Day Saints / VisionSpring program.
Requirements
The requirements listed below convey the knowledge, skills, and ability required to successfully perform this job:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Pharmaceutical and Consumer Product Sales and promotion in the Northern Part of Nigeria with proven customer relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Customer service skills.
- IT skills

- Experience in the healthcare industry or pharmaceutical distribution especially the ophthalmic portfolio will be a strong advantage.
