- As a CRM Associate at Jumia Food, you will play a central role in driving the growth of our food delivery platform.
- Your responsibilities include crafting and executing marketing strategies that elevate the customer experience and propel platform success.
- Your expertise is instrumental in ensuring Jumia Food consistently delivers outstanding value to both customers and restaurant partners.
- You should also be good at Data Analysis (Power BI, SQL) and digital marketing (POM, SEO, CRM, etc)
Key Responsibilities
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to our target audience.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to uncover customer needs, preferences, and industry trends in online food delivery.
- Product Launch: Strategically plan and execute product/brand launches on the Jumia Food platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams for a seamless rollout.
- Content Creation: Generate high-quality marketing content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and promotional materials.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer data and feedback to gain valuable insights into customer behavior and preferences.
- Marketing Channel Mastery: Cultivate a deep understanding of marketing channels and content standards relevant to your domain, refining your approach using data-driven insights.
- Marketing Outreach: Disseminate communications to customers through channels such as email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messages, and more.
- Segmentation: Utilize insights to construct customer segment cohorts, enabling targeted initiatives that drive sustained engagement and high-value sales.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitors’ activities in the food delivery sector to identify opportunities and threats.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and tech teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Steering: Proactively partner with the Commercial team to steer weekly product performance.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, offering data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
Who We Are Looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product or Growth Marketing Specialist, preferably in e-commerce or online food delivery.
- Passion for e-commerce’s transformative potential.
- Highly structured and analytical.
- Proficiency in storytelling with a track record of crafting compelling content.
- Critical thinker is skilled in presenting perspectives using data, instinct, and industry insights.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms like Salesforce CRM, Data Analytics, and Excel.
- Independent worker with experience in creating, leading, managing, and measuring complex campaigns.
- Data analysis proficiency.
- Web programming skills (HTML, PHP) would be a plus
- Ability to crunch and cluster databases
