- Under the guidance and direct supervision of the PPO Institutional Cooperation & National Coordination Committees Support, the incumbent is responsible for the follow-up on the coordination and drafting of the ECOWAS Macroeconomic Convergence and ECOWAS Interim and Annual Reports.
Role And Responsibilities
- Coordination and drafting of the ECOWAS Macroeconomic Convergence and ECOWAS Interim and Annual Reports
- Ensure planning, programming, and implementation of programme activities of the directorate.
- All other tasks as assigned by superior officers.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Public Finance Management from a university of recognized standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Public Finance Management, budgeting and procurement, application of economic principles in development programmes or related area.
- Good knowledge of principles and operational provisions as well as excellent experience in multilateral surveillance programmes.
- Proven working experience in the formulation and implementation of economic and financial reports.
- Proven experience in drawing up a multilateral surveillance report.
- Proven experience in the use of forecasting and macroeconomic analysis tools

- Proficiency in information communication technologies (ICT).
- Fluency in oral and written expressions in one of the ECOWAS official languages of the Community (English, French & Portuguese). Knowledge of an additional one will be an added advantage.

- Identify, organize, and monitor tasks throughout to facilitate execution.
- Ability to contribute and/or lead on projects as per accepted project management standards and techniques, to co-ordinate contributions by others to set and meet deadlines.

- Ability to identify, collect and assess indicators to monitor performance and to take proactive remedial action as required.
Salary
- UA49,106.81 / USD77,480.72 – UA56,591.37 / USD 89,289.87 Annually.
