The Recruitment specialist will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, recruiting, and retaining talented employees.
The job holder will also be responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies, including employee development, retention, and succession planning, to ensure the organization has a strong pipeline of talent to support its growth.
He/ She must ensure the efficient execution of daily activities, and that the quality control and quality management system (QMS) are fully operational and in compliance with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Source and screen candidates using various recruitment tools and techniques, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals.
Manage the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, conducting assessments, and extending job offers.
Develop and implement talent management strategies, including employee development, retention, and succession planning.
Develop and maintain relationships with universities and professional organizations to build a pipeline of talent.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and management.
Ensure the recruitment process is efficient and effective, and provides a positive candidate experience.
Monitor and report on employee engagement and retention rates.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to recruitment and talent management.
Develop and maintain a strong employer brand that attracts top talent
You shall comply with all the provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
And any other task assigned to you by the Branch Lead P&C and the Global Lead P&C.
The Person
A Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) Degree in any relevant Social Science or Business Degree is required for this role.
Minimum of 3 years HR work experience preferably in the Healthcare industry or FMCG sector.
A working knowledge of relevant National Labour Laws is required for this role.
Membership of relevant professional bodies such as CIPM and any other relevant bodies is desired for this role
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages
Excellent negotiation, communication, business presentation and people relations skills.
