Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Summary
- The role is responsible for supervising, planning, implementing, and managing marketing and sales activities. Managing all strategic, operational, fiscal, and administrative aspects of the Marketing and Sales Unit, and overseeing and coordinating the activities of the sales team.
- This role is also responsible for ensuring that the store is appropriately stocked as well as giving accurate information to customers’ on types of items, pricing and after-sales service.
Job Description
- Offer superior customer service and cultivate relationship with clients to sell and develop the business utilizing effective selling skills.
- Achieve monthly sales goals, delivery goals and creating and maintaining a client database.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, active listening, and professional attitude in representing the company with integrity.
- Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge relating to all items in the store.
- Stay current on interior design trends in their local market and on at international level.
- Assist all customers in making sale decisions and ensure appropriate order procedures and processing are followed
- Assist the online sales team of the business in creating awareness online for the business in order to drive sales.
- Participate in other showroom functions including, but not limited to: training and mentoring others, weekly sales meetings, weekly reports, maintaining showroom appearance, tagging, wrapping and loading light furniture & accessories for clients, answering phones, greeting, catalog / price list upkeep, cleaning, and inventory.
- Attend to other functions as assigned.
Required Experience and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in Social Sciences, Arts, or any related field.
- Experience of a year to 2years working as a retail sales associate .
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment where teamwork and self-motivation were critical
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Ability to manage a team relationship and productive work environment
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
- Professional, client-service-oriented, and positive representative of the firm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proximity to ikeja is key.
Salary
N70,000 – N90,000 monthly
