- We are looking for a driven Sales Account Manager with a proven track record in the IT industry to join our team.
- The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of IT solutions from end to end, including cloud solutions, data centre solutions, and network security solutions.
- The candidate should have strong experience in IT sales.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the ICT industry.
- Maintain and establish business relationship between the company and its customers (both internal and external).
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and clients.
- Advise on the compilation of target market penetration strategies and estimate the size of the opportunity in the short, medium and long term.
- Work closely with vendors to predict strategies for solutions and services and will articulate the associated impacts with clients.
- Become the reliable point of contact for clients that is required to establish a strong business relationship.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying and closing sales opportunities.
- Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase.
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
- Understand clients’ business requirements and provide them with tailored IT solutions. Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure successful project implementations.
- Partner with members of the marketing team to inform the design of go-to-market campaigns that will be used to target the potential markets and clients
- Create and present sales proposals to clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a Sales Account Manager in the ICT industry.
- In-depth knowledge of IT solutions, including cloud solutions, data centre solutions, and network security solutions.
- Proven sales and client engagement experience coupled with a good understanding of business, sourcing and technology market.
- Relevant vendor certification.
- Strategic and creative thinking ability and knowledge of industry and technologies to generate sound decisions.
- Experience working for a Systems Integrator organization is a must.
- Good relationship with at least 4 OEMs.
- Ability to work in a team and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets.
