Job Overview
- As a Sales & Business Development Executive, you will manage all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, customer evaluation, and closing new business.
- This is a quota-carrying role where you will make a visible impact within our growing organization.
- The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong business case through a consultative and value-driven sales process
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Drive revenue through corporate/SME sales and partnerships
- Identify profitable business opportunities, secure sound business deals, and lead businesses.
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing and policies and sales proposals
- Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the project.
- Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of the company, knowing your company’s operating and profit margins and understanding the clients’ specific requirements
- Researching, writing and/or checking proposals
- Working with key members of the project team and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid (in the construction industry, members of the project team may include (software developers, product designers and project managers )
- Meet and exceed your sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing new sales opportunities, and leading contract negotiations
- Identify, prioritize, and track progress towards key account metrics and annual quota.
- Partner with customer success, solutions, and business development teams to drive sales results
- Achieve and communicate weekly and monthly commitment targets to senior leadership. Metrics to forecast include:
- Dials per week/month
- Emails per week
- Connection % per week Meetings booked per week
- Number of sales per month
Requirements / Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree / HND
- Must have at least 3 years experience working as Business Development Specialist Or Corporate Sales Executive for a Consulting and Tech company previously, preferably talent recruiting/outsourcing agencies.
- Must have at least 2 years experience in proposal writing and contract bidding for both private and government projects.
- Experience with cold outreach or any outbound activity (LinkedIn messaging, emails, cold calls, outside/in-person selling) and use of technology tools such as Zoom, Zoho, G-suite, Office365, CRM, salesforce, etc
- Consistent over achievement of sales quota; and experience working with enterprise experience
- Strategic and creative thinking enables you to understand industry and customer trends and apply those insights to deliver business results.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and customer service skills.
Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
