Job Title: Sales Manager

Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets at Abuja and its environs Northern part of Nigeria).
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Northern region.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenues and expenses reports and provide realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status.
- Direct the team’s focus, set goals, look at data, motivate and help create training opportunities. Works with large profile customers, specifically key accounts, customer complaints, analyzing budgets, and determining ways to streamline and improve the sales process to grow market share as per ABP.
- The Sales Manager would be required to travel to Kano on a monthly basis
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Meeting planned sales goals.
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
- The ongoing training of your salespeople.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 8+ years in a managerial role.
- Automotive Sales Experience
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
